Welcome to JuryStudy Tampa
Thank you for your interest in participating in a Jury Study session which is a 4 hour focus group. If selected, you will be asked to give your unbiased opinions about real cases going to trial. Your opinions may help the parties resolve their differences, or shape how a case is presented to a real jury.
Individuals with all types of backgrounds are encouraged to apply. More details about when and where the Jury Study will be held will be emailed to you if you are chosen.
Jury Study sessions are held either on a Friday beginning at 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm, or held on a Saturday beginning at 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Free lunch will be served from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm both Fridays and Saturdays.
Each session is approximately 4 hours long and will be recorded for private-use only. Nothing from the sessions will ever be published or available to the public and will remain confidential. Upon arrival, you will be required to sign a Confidentiality Agreement to protect the interests of the cases you will be hearing. Real cases will be presented to you for your discussion and opinions. After the presentation, you will be asked to fill out a questionnaire outlining your thoughts and opinions about some of the issues in the cases. Finally, you will be given $75 in exchange for your time and assistance.
You must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver license to be eligible for selection. You must bring your valid driver’s license with you to participate. You can only participate in a Jury Study once.
